Discover the Essence of the Negritos of Huanuco: Experience their Emotions

The Negritos de Huánuco festival has colonial roots. During this festival, the children of the black community learned to dance in honor of the baby Jesus from Spanish priests. This tradition, which continued in the Huanuco haciendas during the Republic, involves visits to temples and houses as an expression of faith and love for the mystery of God's birth.
